Developmental and Competitive Team
Girls only - Invitation only
Gymini follows the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program for all of our developmental and competitive team programs. This competitive program is by invite only and to qualify for a competitive team, all gymnasts must meet a criteria of skills.
GYMBUGS
This invitation only program is designed for students ages 4-7 and is the first step to our competitive team. We have 3 levels to our GYMBUG program. This program has an option to compete 3 different times at fun meets around the Nashville Area.
Fireflies
Ages 4-5. They practice 1 hour a week with an option of a second day.
Butterflies
Ages 5-6. They practice 1.5 hours a week with an option to add a second practice day of 1 hour.
Dragonflies
Ages 6-7. They practice 4 hours a week split up into 2 days.
Compulsory Team
Level 2-5
The Compulsory Team competes at USA Gymnastics Sanctioned Meets in the Developmental Program. They practice 10-14 hours a week depending on the gymnast’s level. For more information contact Team Director Bridgette@gyminiathletics.com
Optional Team
Level 6-10
The optional team competes at various USAG Competitions and practices 4 or 5 days a week with varying hours depending on the gymnast’s level.
