Flip For Fun Tumbling Classes
Gymini's tumbling classes are designed to improve all aspects of tumbling for dancers, cheerleaders and those that want to learn to flip for fun! All tumbling classes spend time on the floor and the trampoline to train skills from the beginning level to the advanced level.
Beginner Tumbling - ages 5 and up: Beginner tumbling will practice skills such as handstands, cartwheels, round offs, kickovers on the floor, as well as forward and backward jumping skills on trampoline. These one hour classes also focus on flexibility, exercising and safety.
Intermediate Tumbling - ages 5 and up: Intermediate tumbling uses the floor and trampoline to train skills such as round offs, walkovers, back handsprings, front handsprings, and aerials. These one hour classes also focus on flexibility, exercising, and safety.
Advanced-Intermediate Tumbling - ages 7 and up: Advanced-intermediate is a new class that will be offered this summer, 2018. This class is offered to help students segway into advanced tumbling, by focusing heavily on back handsprings, front handsprings, front tucks, and other skills needed for advanced tumbling. This class is one hour long and will focus on flexibility and safe tumbling.
Advanced Tumbling - ages 5 and up: Advanced tumbling is designed for students who have mastered the basic back handspring. This class moves into forward and backward running tumbling, and more difficult standing tumbling. A standing back handspring is required for students to attend this class. These one hour classes also focus on flexibility, exercising, and safety.
Tumbling Clinics - ages 5 and up: Must be enrolled in classes to participate. These $5/30 minute clinics focus on a certain skill, like roundoffs or backhandsprings, and are held on certain days throughout the week. Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date on our clinics!
